SF Radio: Don Kollins Enters The Game As Program Director

Entercom Communications today announced the hiring of Don Kollins as Program Director for Sports Radio KGMZ 95.7 FM The GAME.

Don will succeed Jason Barrett, who resigned his position in order to relocate to the New York City area for family reasons.

“After an exhaustive search, the best choice was located north of us – way north – in Canada!” said Steve DiNardo, Entercom San Francisco Market Vice President.

“We’re excited to have Don join the San Francisco Programming team. He comes to us with an established record of success – specifically in Sports and Talk/News formats. His experience in managing both play by play relationships with professional sports teams as well as personalities makes him the ideal choice for this position. Under Don’s leadership, I’m confident that we will continue to build on the successes that Jason Barrett has achieved during his four year tenure as Program Director”, added DiNardo.

Kollins’ 20 year programming career includes successes at Rogers Broadcasting Sportsnet 590 The Fan CJCL in Toronto and News/Talk CHYM 570 AM  in Ontario where he served as Program Director..

Kollins will begin his new position at Entercom on June 12th.

95.7 The GAME is the largest radio market FM Sports Station in California and the flagship radio station for the Oakland Athletics and Oakland Raiders.
