Louisville Radio: Calhourn Concert Raises $245K

iHeartMedia Communities and WAMZ 97.5 FM Louisville report that Coyote's Acoustic Concert raised more than $245,000 for children's charities, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The star-studded event took place Wednesday, December 3, 2014 and paid tribute to Coyote Calhoun, a 97.5 WAMZ veteran who has served Louisville's Country listeners for 35 years.

Country artists including Toby Keith, Justin Moore, Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Chris Young, Eric Paslay, Montgomery Gentry, Craig Morgan, Craig Campbell, John Michael Montgomery, Kristian Bush, Brothers Osborne, and Maddie & Tae donated their time to perform at Coyote's Acoustic Concert, which drew 17,000 Country music fans to the sold out KFC YUM! Center.

The concert brought the Louisville community together to celebrate Coyote Calhoun's 35-year long career. 97.5 WAMZ will donate the event's net ticket proceeds to charities that serve children across the country, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and their lifesaving care facilities.
