NYC Radio: WQEW Sale Filed By Radio Disney

Radio Disney has filed with the FCC the sale of its WQEW 1560 AM NYC.

As had been previously reumored, the buyer uis California-based Family Radio, the not-for-profit Christian broadcaster. The deal is reported to be for $12.95-million.

The WQXR sale is the third announced sale of a Radio Disney station. Houston-market KMIC 1590 AM is being to ethnic broadcaster DAIJ Media for $3.2 million and Detroit-market WFDF 910 AM is being sold to Word Network for $3 million. See Original Posting: Click Here
